Gardening Saturday is sponsored by bothNDSU Extension in Grand Forks County and the Grand Forks Horticultural Society. Gardening Saturday will be held on Saturday, April 1st at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks; the address is: 1400 42nd Street South, Grand Forks, ND.

The approximately 300 who attended in 2022 were: members of the Grand Forks Horticultural Society, North Dakota and Minnesota master gardeners, and the general public from many counties in both North Dakota and Minnesota. This year’s keynote speaker is Lisa Nunamaker. Lisa is an award-winning designer, artist and educator. Throughout this day-long event, extension agents, gardening specialists, horticulturists, master gardeners, university professionals and the keynote speaker will provide educational sessions on many gardening topics.

Please consider having a vendor booth at this year’s Gardening Saturday event. The number of display areas is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Each display area includes a table, and the space is about eight feet in length and width. The space is rented for a fee of $60 per table. An option is to pay $30 and provide silent auction items equivalent to $30 to equal $60 for one table. Please indicate if you will be donating a silent auction item.

If you intend to have a booth at this year’s event, please submit your booth rental fee as soon as possible. Lunch is available for vendors at $16.00 per person. There is no charge for wireless internet. If you require high speed internet (hard line), there will be a separate charge made payable to the Alerus Center. A work order form will be mailed with confirmation letters. 4-H youth volunteers will be available to assist with unloading if needed; please check the box below if assistance is desired. Vendor setup starts at 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 1st. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. and the event concludes at 4:15 p.m.
